I’m new to yoga. Will this be a problem for me?

Our yoga classes are suitable for all levels. Our experienced instructor is able to adapt each pose to accommodate everyone.

Does your retreat cater for intermediate/advanced level?

Amanda has been instructing for over 15 years and is very experienced within the retreat environment. She always adapts each class to accommodate the levels participating with ease and flow.

Am I able to come by myself?

Most of our guests are solo travellers who often leave Bali Lifestyle and Fitness Retreats with a new group of friends from all around the world. This is part of the fun of being part of a retreat. Who you meet and share your experience with. You can choose to share a room with another guest or your own private room. Choose what pleases you the most on the registration page.

What is the age range of most guests?

Majority of our guests’ age ranges from early 20’s to mid 50’s. Women from all over the world. This diversity truly adds to your experience.

How much free time will I have?

The schedule for the week offers time to relax twice a day. Mid retreat the schedule offers time to head out and explore a part of Bali but if you wish to have more time to explore “The Island of the Gods” we recommend staying 2 – 4 days longer than the retreats 6 days.

What should I pack?

  • Bali’s climate is tropical, casual is the best option.
  • So choose cotton clothes you can be active and comfortable in.
  • Sportswear and sports shoes.
  • One nice casual outfit for the night we dine out.
  • Summer shoes are best.
  • Power adaptors are available in Bali if you don’t already have one.

Do I need to bring extra money if the retreat is all inclusive?

Bali LIfestyle and Fitness Retreats are all-inclusive, however, if you would like additional spa treatments, healing session or you want to head out for a day shopping or to see more of Bali you will be charged in the local currency.

Are meals included?

Healthy, nutritious, sugar free Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner plus snacks twice a day and fresh juices and coconut water are included.

I have special dietary requirements.

Yes, absolutely. This is no problem. There is a special dietary requirements section connected to the registration form.

Do I have to participate in everything on the schedule?

The definition of ‘retreat’ is to ‘withdraw’. This is a time for you to check in with yourself away from the demands of your daily life. If you feel like you need to pull back from the group then that is what you will be supported to do. These retreats are for YOU.

Passport requirements

Required by the Indonesian government, you must have a minimum of 6 months validity on your passport from the date of arrival. Visa on Arrival (VOA) is FREE. Allowing 30 days to stay in Bali, starting from the day you arrive. If you do wish to stay longer than 30 days in Indonesia you need to buy a VOA visa, this can be done at the Bali airport. The paid visa allows you to stay for up to 60 days. Please inform us upon arrival if you chose this type of visa and we will assist you further with all necessary information.

Transportation to the Retreat Center

Please email your travel itinerary details and we will arrange your transfer either from the airport or your hotel to the retreat centre.

What should I look for/do when I arrive at the airport?

Once you go through Immigration, collect your baggage and have your bags scanned, please look for our driver standing outside in the arrivals lobby. Our driver will be holding a sign saying ‘Bali Lifestyle & Fitness Retreats’.Our driver will then transport you to the retreat centre. There are often many drivers picking up tourists so be calm and focused when looking for your driver. If you cannot find the driver, please call or WhatsApp Amanda on +628213842 2490 alternatively connect with Amanda on Bali Lifestyle and Fitness Facebook page before you leave home send a message so you are connected on messenger and contact her this way. There is free wifi at the airport.

What if my flight is delayed?

Our driver will know this and will be waiting for you when your flight arrives, whenever it arrives.

What time should I book my flight arrival time?

When you are booking flights and the only flight you can get arrives late in the evening we like to suggest that you choose to arrive the night before the retreat starting date. Check in any time after 2:00 PM. If you have a later flight, don’t worry. Just let us know and we will make sure you are taken care of.

I will already be in Bali, what should I do?

Let us know ahead of time by email and we will have a driver come to collect you from your hotel or villa.

What if my return flight is later than 12pm on the last day of the retreat?

Don’t worry, we are very happy to hold your luggage and we will arrange a later transfer to the airport for you.

How long is the drive to/from the Airport?

Between 30 minutes and 1 hour (it all depends on the time of the day)  

Is there access to the internet?

Yes, free wifi.Local phone calls are also complementary.

What time is Check-In and Check-Out?

Check-In is 2pm
Check-Out is 12pm

How can I arrange my massages or spa visits?

There is a massage room onsite and there will be masseuses at the retreat centre on day 1 & 2. You can book additional massages.

I am travelling with a friend, can we stay in the same room?

You can choose the Twin Share room. However, if all Twin Share rooms are full no problem the Pool View Suite bed can be separated into 2 king singles. We will do our best to accommodate all requests.

What if I don’t want a roommate?

You will need to pay a little extra. Specify this in the registration form. We will make it happen.
