What Happens To Your Body When You Start Doing Yoga?

If you are already a yogi or have never done yoga before Bali Lifestyle and Fitness Retreats has got you covered. Yoga is a personal space and the great thing is all levels can enjoy a yoga practice at the same time. 
Yoga is no longer seen as something that’s only good for improving flexibility and relaxation. Yoga gives our bodies both exercise, mobility, muscle strengthening,  improves balance, pain levels among seniors, assists in menopausal symptoms, daily energy level and meditation calmness. Yoga is a form of fitness for all ages and levels.
Our yoga instructor has been instructing for 15 years and 12 years in the retreat environment. You are in good hands.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is a practice that is designed to work for all levels. Vinyasa is gentle and beneficial for your body. It is based on a gentle to vigorous flow to ignite your vitality and strengthen muscles and core.


We begin on the Yin side, focusing on breath and mind, passive, cooling and downward. While Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and upward. A soothing way to find balance.

Restorative (Hatha)

Hatha yoga is a path towards creating balance and uniting opposites. In our physical bodies, we develop a balance of strength and flexibility. We also learn to balance our effort and surrender in each pose using our conscious mind.

Strengthening Mobility

If you are new to yoga and fitness this yoga practice is perfect for you. This practice activates dormant muscles, improves motor control by developing muscle awareness and releases restricted muscle tissue which in turn will activate dormant muscles.

Stretching Flexibility

So many great benefits from this yoga practice. If you’re already into fitness this yoga style helps, reduce the risk of injury, corrects muscle imbalances caused by muscle tightness and decreases pain in your joints by releasing connected tissue in muscles attached to joints.

A 6 day cleanse could be a good way to jumpstart your healthy eating plan or help your body recover from a not-so-virtuous lifestyle. Cleansing and detoxifying your body is said to be a great benefit for your immune system and mental health. Gently cleansing your body throughout the 6 day retreat. IV Vitamin Therapy

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Gentle flow yoga is an important part of cleanse/detox. The body will respond well to the movement because the gentle flow yoga will focus on cleansing your organs. Complimenting the other treatments you will have during your retreat.


Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet, hands, and ears. Reflexology is generally relaxing and is known to be an effective way to alleviate stress. The theory behind reflexology is that these areas correspond to organs and systems of the body. Proponents believe that pressure applied to these areas affects the organs and benefits the person’s health.

Infrared Sauna

Infrared light considered a gentle radiant heat which penetrates up to 4 cm’s beneath the skin’s surface that doesn’t cause a burning effect. Sweating is one of the body’s most natural ways to eliminate toxins, making it a crucial part of detoxification. Infrared saunas allow you to eliminate about seven times more toxins than traditional saunas. Some benefits are detoxification, improved circulation, clear and tighter skin and better sleep.

Our appointed private chefs are passionate about nutritious food tasting amazing! So passionate you can taste the passion in every mouthful. The Head chef specialises in cleansing diets. Every dish is sugar-free, plant-based and cooked with organic ingredients. Fresh ingredients bought daily from the local market. You will have 2 cooking classes so you can truly experience that healthy eating doesn’t have to be difficult or tasteless.

Relaxation Time

We encourage slow beach walks and enjoying the sun lounges by the pool without your devices. Sleep when your body tells you too, guilt-free. when you are totally in a relaxed state cleansing your body from the inside benefits heightens.
